Launcher showing Offline? Update failing? Can't log in even though your internet works? Work through the steps below in order — they resolve almost every case.

1. The launcher shows "Offline" but the server is up

Some internet providers and networks (mobile hotspots, offices, schools, providers with "family filter" features) silently block the ports online games use, while normal websites keep working. Two quick tests tell you if that is what is happening to you.

Test A — open this link in your browser: files.l2cor.com/manifest.json. If a wall of text appears, the update server is reachable.

Test B— with that link working, look at the launcher: if it still shows the server as Offline (or the game cannot reach the login screen) while normal websites load fine, your provider or network is blocking the game's connection. The fix is in the next section.

2. The fix: Cloudflare WARP (free)

Cloudflare WARP is a free, unlimited app from Cloudflare (the company behind the 1.1.1.1 DNS service). It routes your traffic through Cloudflare's network, which bypasses port blocking and broken routes. It is lightweight, adds little to no ping, and you can simply leave it on while playing.

  1. Download it from one.one.one.one (official Cloudflare site) and install.
  2. Open the app and switch WARP on.
  3. Restart the launcher — the server status should now show Online. Log in and play.

Any reputable VPN (ProtonVPN Free, Windscribe) works too — WARP is simply the easiest and has no data cap. Avoid unknown "free VPN" apps from ad sites.

3. It worked before, then suddenly stopped

Some antivirus suites (Kaspersky, ESET, Norton, Avast…) include a "network attack blocker" that can mistake game traffic for an attack and block the server's address for 30–60 minutes — even when their firewall module is switched off. Open your antivirus, look for a blocked-connections or network-protection log around the time the game dropped, and mark the blocked address as trusted. Also add the game folder to your antivirus exclusions.

4. The updater cannot download files

If Test A fails in your browser too, your network cannot reach the update server — WARP (section 2) fixes that as well. If Test A works in the browser but the launcher still cannot download, your antivirus or firewall is blocking the launcher application specifically: allow the launcher through the firewall and add the game folder to the antivirus exclusions.
